We Will Have To Do This On Our Own

On October 1, 2011 Steven Bassett , head of the Paradigm Research Group (PRG), posted a petition on the White House “We the People” website requesting that President Obama “formally acknowledge an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race and immediately release into the public domain all files from all agencies and military services relevant to this phenomenon”.

I signed that petition, and over the following month the petition did accumulate the required number of supporters/signatures to qualify for a response from the White House. This response was posted on the White House “We the People” website on November 4, 2011. This is to be regarded by every citizen as the official White House / Obama administration position regarding the long-standing and ongoing UFO Phenomenon.

The White House response was titled “Searching For ET, But No Evidence Yet” and it stated, “The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race. In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public’s eye”. The White House statement ended with “The fact is we have no credible evidence of an extraterrestrial presence here on Earth”.

That is odd. Only yesterday I came across just such evidence that our government claims does not exist. Here is that story.

I work as an anesthesiologist at St. Peter’s Hospital in Helena, MT. A couple of days ago (December 13, 2011), a notice was posted in our office which stated that a representative from In Vivo, a medical technology company from which the hospital had just purchased a new monitor for patients which are undergoing general anesthesia in the MRI suite, would be available throughout that day to educate us in the use of the new monitor. I had some time between cases, so I went downstairs to MRI to learn about our new (and very much needed) monitor – thank you St. Peter’s for supplying this state of the art equipment. I met the representative from In Vivo, and she spent about 20 minutes introducing me to the various functions of this new monitor. She was an attractive, approximately 30-35 years old woman, apparently married, who was very nice, very professional, and very knowledgeable in the use of the In Vivo monitor. She answered all of my questions about the monitor.

Eventually and for some reason I asked her where she was from, and she replied “Portland”. What follows is the gist of our conversation which followed. Please stick with me.

Me: So where did you grow up?
Her: I grew up in a small town in eastern Washington that you have probably never heard of called Wilbur.
Me: I know Wilbur.
Her: How do you know about Wilbur?
Me: I am interested in Crop Circles, and a Crop Circle occurred just outside of Wilbur about 5 or 6 years ago. Wilbur was close enough that I decided that I would go there and check out that Crop Circle and take some photographs of it. I can’t usually get to the U.K. to see Crop circles, but I could get to Wilbur. So that is how I got to know Wilbur.
Her: I heard about that Crop Circle. Even though I live in Portland, I still subscribe to the Wilbur Register, and I saw the story about that Crop Circle. So did you find it?
Me: Yes, I found it. And I found the office of the Wilbur Register where I went in to obtain a copy of the paper that had the aerial photos of that Crop Circle on the front page of that edition.
Her: What did you think of it? Who did you think made it?
Me: Well, I don’t know who made it, but I had a conversation about that very Crop Circle with Nancy Talbott (of BLT Research Team), and Nancy told me that BLT had obtained and analyzed samples taken from that Crop Circle, and their conclusion was that the Wilbur Crop Circle was “genuine”. It featured many of the characteristics which Nancy Talbott looks for in Crop Circles which led her to conclude that this Crop Circle was not made by the mechanical stomping down of the wheat crop with ropes and boards.
Her: Well, I know the people who own the land where that Crop Circle appeared, and I know that they are not the kind of people who would do something like that anyway.
Me: Well, Nancy’s study of the Wilbur Crop Circle would support the conclusion that the Wilbur Crop Circle was not a hoax.
Her: So who do you think made it?
Me: I think it was made by an intelligence which is coming to this planet from somewhere else, and I believe that not only Crop Circles, but also UFO sightings, and the cattle mutilations that we hear about, are all also part of that same big picture.
Her: So you think that UFO’s are real?
Me: Yes, I do think that they are real, and I believe that they are produced and guided here by a non-human intelligence. They have been seen and reported by too many credible people to think that these are just due to people’s over-active imaginations. Take a look at Leslie Kean’s book, UFO’s / Pilots, Generals, and Military Officials Go on the Record.
Her: If you have time I would like to tell you about an experience I had growing up in Wilbur when I was in 6th grade in 1982.
Me: I still have some time, let’s hear it. How old were you then?
Her: I must have been 12 years old, and I was walking home from school with two of my girlfriends. We were standing out in front of my friend’s house, talking, when this large object appeared in the sky over our heads.
Me: Wow! How large?
Her: Fairly large. Maybe about the size of a helicopter.
Me: If it was a helicopter it would have made a lot of noise and you would have felt the air moving around you. Did you feel anything? Did the air feel electrostatic or anything like that?
Her: No, there was no wind coming from it. It was a still, clear, spring day that day in Wilbur and the object was just sitting there, still, above us. The object made a low pitched sound that we could hear, not extremely loud, and not like a helicopter or an airplane.
Me: So what did it look like?
Her: It was round and bright and had, like, light bulbs around it.
Me: How high above the three of you was this object?
Her: I think it was about as high as a telephone pole.
Me: Wow! So it was really close to the three of you! How long was it there over you?
Her: I would guess that it was there for about 30 seconds.
Me: Were you scared? What did the three of you do?
Her: Well, I was sort of scared, but not terrified. I was really curious about this thing as much as I was scared. But after about 30 seconds I began to feel more afraid, so we all just ran home.
Me: Did you talk to your parents about what happened?
Her: I tried to tell my parents, but they said I had probably just seen a helicopter or something else like that. Also, we had a new exchange student in our house that had just arrived that day, and I didn’t feel comfortable talking about this subject with a new person in the house that we didn’t know and who didn’t know us. So the whole incident was just kind of dropped.
Me: I think you saw a UFO. I think the three of you saw a machine produced by another intelligence that was not from here.
Her: Well, the next day I got together with my two friends and we talked about what had happened to us. We decided then that we had seen a UFO. One of the friends I was with said that she didn’t want to talk about it ever again.
Me: I have a website where I publish information about Crop Circles and UFO’s, and if you will contact your friends and the three (or even two) of you could summarize this story as best you can remember it, then I would like to publish your account of this event, in your own words, on this website. Thanks for showing me the monitor and for telling me your story.
Me: To the In Vivo representative who graciously told me of an event in her life which was obviously a very significant one – I only remember your first name and would not publish it without your permission. After all, it isn’t your name that is important, but rather the very sincere story you told me of you and your two friends experience that is important, and how that experience may have, in perhaps subtle ways, influenced your lives. If you read this please think about contacting your friends and submitting your story here. The world needs to hear from people like you. Experiences like yours form a database which explains why any of us take an interest in this phenomenon. Our gradual acceptance and eventual understanding of this phenomenon are going to prove to be very important to the continued progress, and perhaps even the future survival, of our civilization. We need to hear the truth, and make our future decisions based on that truth.

So this is the situation. Our government says that there is no evidence, but because I am open about this subject and I talk with anyone who will talk about it with me, I can recount to you at least 10 stories of events similar to this one which have been told to me, personally, by people who I know are sincere and honest people. I think they are actually relieved to be able to tell their story to someone who will seriously listen to their story with an open mind and without ridiculing them.

There is evidence. There is a great deal of very good evidence if one cares to read and listen. How long will it take for our society to open up to this evidence? How long will it take for people to stop ridiculing and start listening and thinking for themselves? And how long will our society continue to honor a government which, when presented with a golden opportunity to tell us the truth, instead decides that its primary directive must be to simply maintain the status quo and keep our population in the dark about what is arguably the most important revelation in human history?

The White House’s disingenuous response to PRG’s very worthy petition has made the situation very clear: if we want to know the truth, if we feel this knowledge is important for the continued progress of our civilization, then We Will Have To Do This on Our Own. (To be continued in Part Two).
